Leveling BLU!

I've been leveling BLU a lot lately. I got it to 36 yesterday! woo. Now I have to go learn some new spells and stuff. I want to pimp this BLU out, so I am probably going to put a lot of time into it. This will probably replace my BLM as my main job, I'm so excited! =)

Swift Belts!

Today we did Swift Belt runs as a group. Me, Leek, Infamoushero, Lordvegeta, Graywolfe, and Neolite. We all ended up getting a Swift Belt at the end of the night for everyone. Congratulations to everyone! I will use this nice peice of armor for my awesome BLU =)

We ended up doing 8 Runs total. 6/8 on them. Me and Leek were the only 2 who didn't get a drop on their first pop. But in the end, we all got one. Grats guys!

Leveling Jobs

Yesterday, I unlocked BLU and NIN. I decided that BLU was going to be my next 75. I've always had a passion for it, so I am going to do it this time.

I leveled up WAR from 1 - 10 and also leveled up NIN from 1 - 12. Currently I am trying to raise up Norg fame for Utsusemi. So far I have turned in 80/100 Zinc Ores. I should be able to do my quest soon. I also leveled up BLU from 1-5 so far, I have been taking it slow trying to learn spells.
While leveling up jobs from 1-10, I collect the Copper Ore's from mobs and synth them with the fire crystalsI get. Today I acciedntly got Goldsmithing to 1.6. Woo go me! lol

DAMN STORMS

So before I get to say anything.. this is my third time trying to post this, the internet keeps fucking up.

So, long story short, we had a hellacious storm at my house. Baseball size hail, Trees down in my yard, Powerlines down and the whole nine yards. Our electricity got fucked up and it completely blew up my whole power strip. Fax Machine, Phone, Modem, and Router got fried. So, ALL day today I have been trying to get a steady connection going. I finally got it going for a little bit and decided to fish on FFXI. I caught a stack and a half of Neb's before it completely fucked up again. It was down for hours. So I decided to go buy a new router. Hook it up when I got home and so far so good. I called the DSL company and got them to overnight air me a new modem, so it should be here in the morning. But yeah, what a damn day!

Enough of RL shit.. Like I said, today I caught a stack and a half of Nebs. Whoopty fucking doo. I also got 5 clusters of Water Crystals, which isn't bad considering I was on for like 35 minutes. Me and Leek also started doing the Fishing quests for Albatross and Penguin rings. I finished the first quest with the Fat Greedie and got a Sand Charm drop from a Crossbones on the ferry. So I finished the first two, only another quest or so to go.

So that's it for the night! I am back on FFXI atm fishing up some more Neb's. I will only fish for a few hours tonight. I'm super tired and it's 1:30 in the morning already! FUCK! 10 hours of getting my internet fixed sucks ass. Oh well, goodnight all!

EDIT: Quick edit, I also fixed up some links along the side of the page. Leek's Soop, Rock's Soop, Hero's Soop, and stuff has been added. These 3 guys are in lime and put up blogs too. Read em and check em out!

New LS and Friend Transfer

My fishing buddy and friend Leek started up a new LS called "lime," it's awesome.

AND, I got my ole buddy Infamoushero from Titan to transfer to Fenrir! Yay, I am glad he's here.. now the fun begins!

Meeky of Fenrir

Here I am, Meeky of Fenrir! 75BLM. Working on Cooking and Fishing right now.

Back in the Game!

So I am back in the game officially now. I restarted a few months ago and have been working on leveling my BLM. I got my BLM to 75 last night and decided on starting this blog back because it's really fun.

My old character was Meekriot. A Taru on the Titan Server. Before I quit, my character was 75BLM, WHM, and THF. I also had Goldsmithing at 96+2. You can check out these blogs to see the old progress I had made. I had to sell the character for financial issues at the time. 6 months before I quit, I stopped blogging due to the fact that I was playing the game on Xbox and was unable to take screenshots. I now have a new laptop with FFXI installed and can now take screenshots.

I have restarted and decided to take up Cooking now, along with Fishing. I will be posting my progress on this blog. Hope this is a good time around!

Einherjar Virgin

So I tried Einherjar for the first time today, with the shell. I believe it may be my first and last one forever lol.

We entered and saw a ton of Jnun and Dark Elementals. I assumed it wouldn't be hard, but these elementyals kicked our ass. It was fuckin ridiculous. I hate it lol, not to mention the rewards from Einherjar aren't even good... So it may be my last forever.

Limbus with New Shell.

I'm already starting to like this shell. Tonight we did a Limbus together. I had never done a limbus before, but its a pretty cool thing. I'm not exactly sure which one we did, but we ended in beating it and ended up getting some pretty good AF+1 peices. Got WAR BLM SAM WHM and something else I believe.

We also split all of the Ancient Beastcoins up among us evenly. Out of 12 people we ended up getting 5 each, which is a pretty good turn out. I also got the BLM AF+1 item Diabolic Yarn. Along with the 5 coins, I should have hat anytime soon.

Server Change!

The other day I switched over to Cerberus and joined a top HNM shell. We are pretty badass. Called AfterMath.

WHM AF: O

I completed all the WHM AF I am ever going to need in the game today. Got all of the things by myself, which I am proud of.

I solo'd the feet quest, solo'd the entire Hands Coffer and Darkspark fight, and the coffer for the pantaloons. Right now as I speak my WHM is currently at 56, and I plan on taking it further and further all the way to 75 within the next month or so =)

Oh and I only got this AF items, because I plan on using Vermillion Cloak until Noble's tunic. :)

Taru Meeting

I had a taru only meeting the other day in Lower Jueno with some old friends. Here is what ended up happening...

WHM Leveling

I haven't updated this thing in a little while. I recently had my 17th birthday, then the next day was the fourth of July. Me and some friends went out to Pigeon Forge, we had a pretty fun time.

But here lately, I've been leveling WHM. As I write this I am in a party. Right now I got the WHM up to 42, been working on leveling and whatnot, about to hit 43.

BTW, this morning I solo'd my WHM AF1 weapon. The weapon is crap, but the fight with the Marchelute was pretty fun.

ZM16

Today we did ZM16 as half of the linkshell. The other two guys we picked up off shouting in Whitegate. We had a few first rough runs, mainly from the AoE killing us mages, but after that we ended up kicking the shit out of him and basically making the fight look so easy it was ridiculous.

We basically ran in. Sleep the orbitals, let the NIN and MNK solo the Armor around Eald'narch. After that, we all ran up and killed the first form of the kid.

BY THE WAY, I WAS CONTROLLING TWO CHARACTERS AT THE SAME TIME DURING THIS! I was controlling mine and Infamoushero's character during the fight. This is the hardest shit EVER.

When the second form of the kid poped up, I did my 2hr on Meekriot and nuked him, while the other BLM did the same thing, and I did 2hr on Infamoushero. The second form on Eald'narch died in basically 25-30 seconds. It was a fun fight.

Now I am ready for Bahamut v1 and then on to Apocalypse Nigh.

KSNM BLM Runs -- NIN

Today we had the occasional BLM KSNM Runs for people. We had the usual options of 300k for all drops, 50/50, and item-bust. Most people chose the 300k and the 50/50 as usual. We did end up getting pretty good drops, but not as much people showed up as normally.

We ended up getting like 3-4 Damascus Ingots, 1-2 Damascene cloths, 1-2 V Claw's, and a bunch of Orchalium Ingots. And on top of that, the people who payed with the gil. So the group income wasn't TOO bad, but we did have to split it four ways. I haven't gotten the gil yet, the items haven't sold, but I will let you know in the next update what exactly I got.

I did do my own orb KSNM30 run. Of course I got shit drops, check em out. Made about 25k, lol.

This overall was probably the best drop, two Damascus ingots out of one orb, and the guy did like 6 orb runs at once, so he made pretty good gil.

Also, I've been leveling my NIN up. I have to have it for my THF, which I am solely going to use for farming purposes. I found a nice way to make money with my goldsmithing, but it is a pain in the ASS with a BLM. Having to rest over and over is a pain in the butt. I got my NIN to 26 though. My THF is already level 42, so it won't be a pain in the butt to level, plus I like playing THF, it is a pretty fun job.

Ifrit Prime

Today I ended up doing my Ifrit prime fight. I now have all of the avatars except for Fenrir. I am planning on getting all the whispers and him done within the next few weeks. So expect that update. The fight was, way way, way to easy. Anyways, thats all that has really been going on in the FFXI life.

MG & Seiryu

Today the linkshell did a Seiryu and a sky farming run. We ended up killing Motherglobe also. Wyrmal Abjuration hands did drop, and caused quite some controversey between linkshell members, but it all turned out good.

Buffer

So I got really REALLY REALLY bored today, and guess what? MEEK GOT A BUFFER OF 26,000. Yep, I'vve never had one above 10,000. I'm pretty proud of myself.

Sky Demis

Today we had sky farming. For 7 hours might I add. But it didn't seem too bad. Heres the list of shit we did...

1. We got a water
2. Olla kill
3. Mother Globe kill
4. Steam Cleaner kill
5. Zippy kill
6. and last but not least.. Faust kill

It wasn't bad, but I did die about 5 times and got down to a buffer of 2,000. I almost lost level 75... which would suck. But here are some nice little screenshots I took during the fights.

Diabolos Prime

Tonight I got really bored and decided to do Diabolos Prime. It was a really rocky fight and took us 3 tries to do it, but we ended up making it in the end.

First try we blew it and the Blackmage fell down the hole, and Infamoushero didn't get to use his 2hr and we lost at 4% because of Nightmare.

Second run we go in, without any 2hours and get it down to 20% and we die because of Nightmare again. So the second time, we decide to go in, rape him with 2 hours and see where we get to. We run in, and me and another Black Mage both cast Burst II. It immediatly takes him down to 75%. The Paladin then voked, grabbed hate and used Invincible. The RDM/DRK then used his Chainspell and Stun for the duration of his 2hour, while me and the other BLM both used Manafont and nuked his ass. During this time, Infamoushero also solo skillchained Light, which raped him overall too. The fight only last about 1 minute or so lol. It was fun though. I ended up choosing the ability to summon him, because none of the other choices suited me. Here are some screenshots.
